Rheinfels castle along the Rhine river in Germany

Above the town of St Goar. Oldest part built between 1245 and 1248.
We followed the R icon. It was quite a hike up there. Well worth it. They had a great museum too with models of how the castle changed over time. Complete with soldiers and their changing uniforms and arms. Fell to Napoleon.
