The tea room has become more family friendly here. I loved the light shades that remind you of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge sauce. Shoppers were ordering all kinds of things but I came for afternoon tea-plus a salad since it was my last meal in England before catching the evening train under the tunnel to France.
I drank that whole pot of the and I loved the biscuits! Unlike anything I have ever tasted before.
