Exterior shots of hotel

Here is the door for taking one into the old infirmary. Beautiful!

Up close of next door down.

When seated in a room off the lobby, this is your view.

And if you turn a bit, you see this stairway.

I sat here one evening before taking all the pictures of the chapel for my other Blog-Why we do what we do in worship.(creatingcontentforkids.blogspot.com)

The only problem with Bruges on Wednesday

At the visitor's center, I was told that some businesses might be closed on Wednesday for their only day off. Such was the case with this beautiful chocolate shop.

Ah, but life goes on. And so do opportunities to indulge in chocolate!

Go inside and take a closer taste...I mean look!
Easter is on sale. Lots for the kiddos!

This is a chocolate museum. Chocostory.  For a price you can take a tour.

I bet it is nice, but I wanted to stay outside and explore this wonderful town!

Bruges signs

Isn't this the coolest looking radio station you have ever seen?

Loved the bookstore ! You can tell they are ready for spring even if you cannot read the language.

Tempted -only briefly- to get a tattoo!

Definitely not interested in the piercings.

Bruges on the canal

After the wonderful vegan lunch where I chatted with two Englishwomen, I went in search of chocolate. Once purchased I sat at the canal and enjoyed the view and  the chocolate!

Great place to people watch some of the locals.

Relaxing, huh?

I really liked this unusual topper above the door.

Bruges is such a great place to sit and watch the world go by!

Bruges Belgium

What a fabulous place!

The busy city center.

Great architectural details.

Busy with tourists in this part of town.

But you can escape some of the crowd.

See the locals enjoying this lovely spring Wednesday in mid April.
