English countryside round up

One more of me at the Royal Crescent.
Ah. Blenheim in the town of Woodstock.
As peaceful as it looks!
This struck me funny.

I said "What hammer am I going to use to break this glass to get to the hammer to break the glass window in an emergency?"  No wonder the motto: Stay Calm and Carry On!
First cottage we saw. Were not many on the route we traveled.

Another look at Swindon

The intersection where we looked the wrong way but happily the motorist took pity on two jet lagged Americans.

Same street. You can see an example of the homes near our hotel.
I loved this metal work on a building near the train station.
The 'famous' but not at all hard to find-mints!

Science Museum in London

These cars made me think of my car-obsessed grandson, Ben.
He would have loved this wall of stacked cars! He loves Herbie the Love bug too.

The lawn mower made me think of my hard working hubby. He had cut a lot of grass over the years for a suit guy.

I remember going to the dentist in the mid 1960's and the set up was just like this. My kids say it looks 'unsanitary!'

British Museum

And this was fascinating. Too bad I did not see the no photo sign earlier. Sorry.

And this I saw in a shop right near the British museum. If I was gonna spend money on anything this would have been it. They still got a sale.  Robert got a scarf there.
