Here are a few pictures of how things are different and yet the same.
I saw this vehicle in Toledo on my first full day out. Super cool and compact!
It seems like a motorcycle with a shell around it!
Speaking of motorcycles, they were everywhere. And they are allowed to park on the sidewalk.
Look at what else we saw with their own lane in the street.
The school was still in session and only was finishing on June 14.
These pictures are of kids walking with dad to school that Friday in Barcelona.
My transportation in Spain most of the time was this Mercedes Benz.
A Mercedes Benz motor coach, that is!
We often stopped at what we would call a truck stop. This one made me think of you and Owen.
This is one of the most popular gas station companies and one I know you will recognize.
And speaking of popular, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and
Starbucks are very common in Spain.
And the Golden Arches are as well.
And finally, I think I have seen this in some hotels in the US but every hotel there had this feature.
You put your room key card into this slot and then the electric power comes on in the room.
