Frankfurt bridge story continues

The French man, who is also taking pictures, motions to his wife to explain what the locks are about. She is about to speak when he says "love.' She nods as I take a closer look. The first ones I saw seemed rather plain but the ones I was seeing now were more colorful with names etched on them. I said 'Oh, like we would carve our names into a tree?' 'Qui!'
Just then we heard a woman and her friends excitedly shriek as she chained her lock to the bridge!
